Picture Perfect, They Say

We might have been a week late, but we know it was worth it!

We're happy to announce that Utterli is the newest addition to our supported sites, Utterli offers a unique user experience that fits right in the Ping family.

We've done some major overhauling to the way we handle media that comes through our system. There are several sites we post to that have the ability to attach pictures and other media right inline with the post. Until now, we just linked to the stuff you sent. Now, when you post a picture through Ping to Brightkite, Pownce, Plurk, Tumblr and newly added Utterli, the picture will show right with the post, making your awesome even MORE awesome. And also, when you call our SpinVox number, your voice message will be posted inline with all of your Utterli posts. Neat, huh?

The crazy doesn't stop there, though. Some of you are already taking part, but for those who don't already know, we've added photo posting capabilities for Facebook and Flickr. We are redoing some stuff on the Ping.fm Facebook application, but head over there and set your photo permissions and the magic will happen. We're going to improve that interface sooner than later, we assure you.

That wraps up this wave of upgrades. We are right back on queuing up some new features for next time, so stick around to see what comes out of that!
