Hey Everyone! OPEN BETA!

It's been an eventful 6 months, and we are extremely happy and proud to announce that we are officially open for business. No longer will you be required to don a beta code to snag up your Ping.fm account. This being said, we want to give our most sincere thanks to those of you who have helped us improve our service and make it everything you want it to be. This doesn't mean we are done with the updates. This was really just the beginning of what will be an intensely awesome service. We have reached our user and feature goals for open beta and now it's time to hit the ground running. So, once again we thank YOU. Tell your friends, family, colleagues, doctors, beauticians, politicians, pets and random ghosts that haunt your sleep that Ping.fm is in the HIZZLE HIZZLE!

Speaking of updates and features, we just so happen to have a couple more you might be interested in. Some of you know of our image uploading capability via your Ping.fm posting address. We've improved the the overall interface of your uploaded media and have added threaded commenting capability thanks to Disqus. Now your uploaded stuff can hold it's own conversations. Cool, huh?

We are working to improve the over-all social environment of your Ping.fm account, so we have put into motion the idea to have personalized Ping.fm public profiles. We are working out the kinks on how to make your profile a one-stop shop for all of your social networking management needs. We've already incorporated a "username" into your Ping.fm profile settings, so you should head over there pretty quick so you can reserve your sweet Ping.fm username.

We still need and want your suggestions on how you think we could improve your user experience on our site. We cherish all feedback from our users so please don't be shy about your questions, comments, complaints or praise because we love to type and stuff.
