Calling All Apps!

A while ago, we announced our bright and shiny API to the developers of the world. Since then, we've had an amazing response from developers wanting to participate in the creation and release of a Ping.fm app. From widgets, mobile apps, extensions and a vast assortment of creative integration, we've seen some awesome projects come about. So, to give thanks to everyone who has developed on our API, we're proud to announce the launch of our brand spankin' new Application Gallery to showcase all of your hard work. Developers can now choose to have their work featured right here on the Ping.fm website.

We've taken it upon ourselves to feature some of the existing apps and put them in the gallery so you can see how it's all going down. If you've developed a Ping.fm app, and want your app to show up, just open the developers area and, if your app has been approved, just click on the gallery link. Easy-easy!

If you're a user of one or more of these wonderful apps, you should definitely go check this out. You might just find something that completes your Pinging life!

We hope this encourages even more development on our API, and are looking forward to seeing the new apps that will be created.
